FluTrends is fortunate to have an Advisory Board of experienced professionals with diverse experience from the fields of healthcare, patient safety, pharmaceuticals, and business management. Our Advisory Board works closing with our executive leadership to design and implement our business strategy.
Randolph Jones, Board of Advisors
Mr. Jones has held CEO/President level positions in various corporations with interests in the healthcare industry, including Sun Healthcare Group. Henry Schein, Inc., Gould and Neurologics, Inc. During his leadership of the Diversified Healthcare Group at Henry Schein, it grew from under $30 million to nearly $900 million, acquiring six medical distribution companies and ultimately leading to an IPO. In his early career, Mr. Jones established his reputation as a dynamic and driven individual by becoming the youngest Group Product Manager at Johnson & Johnson and the youngest International Vice President at Warner Lambert. In recent years, he has added pro bono work to his accomplishments, working with organizations such as Help With Housing, Cedar Creek/Belle Grove Governor’s Commission, Shenandoah University and Rotary International. Mr. Jones is a graduate of Georgetown University and was selected as the top contributor in the Harvard Business School advanced management training program.
Dr. James Bernstein, MD, Board of Advisors
Dr. Bernstein brings to FluTrends more than 30 years of entrepreneurial general management experience and is a seasoned life sciences executive with research, distribution and retail experience. In 1976, he launched General Health, Inc., a health risk estimation business which ranked as an INC500 company two years in a row. In 2000, Dr. Bernstein took bioinformatics start-up Informax public, raising $80 million. He has been involved in the launching of, and has served on the board of, diverse companies in life sciences and strategic marketing. He also founded a major wholesale pharmaceutical distributor in Russia, a healthcare superstore, and an Alzheimer’s Disease pharmaceutical R&D company. A graduate of Harvard College and Cornell Medical School, Dr. Bernstein trained in general and transplantation surgery and was a senior researcher and assistant to the President of the Salk Institute. He also served as the Deputy Director of the Georgetown University Health Policy Center and chaired President Jimmy Carter’s health policy advisory group.
Jeff White, Board of Advisors
Mr. White has over 19 years’ experience in launching and leading businesses. As a founder of Blue Canopy, Mr. White led the sales effort which resulted in Blue Canopy receiving two INC 500 awards as one of the fastest growing private companies in America. As Co-founder and CEO of mySBX, he built and sold a WEB 2.0 social networking company, yielding investors a five times return on equity over an 18-month period. As a passionate entrepreneur and technologist, Mr. White brings to FluTrends his visionary methods of generating sales and creating a viral marketing phenomenon by leveraging the Internet.
