Overview
FluTrends International Corporation ("FluTrends") was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Reston, Virginia with research facilities in Denver, Colorado. FluTrends' mission is to leverage science to save lives, to reduce morbidity and to lessen the economic impact of influenza with the intent to eliminate the disease within a decade.
Each year, influenza impacts our lives and economies. In 1890, the first influenza pandemic was recorded and since that time, three additional pandemics have occurred. Every year from October to April, we witness this respiratory virus at work, marked by individuals coughing and sneezing and other symptoms of varying degrees of severity.
With all of our advances in medicine and science, today we have few answers, few solutions and lots of questions. FluTrends believes we can help. Through effective collaboration and preparation, we can make a difference.
Today, there is no flu pandemic in the world. No one knows when or where it may occur, or how severe it will be, but we do know that it is a very real threat. We feel compelled to assist you in understanding the facts and searching for ways to slow down the virus’ effects, while working on a long term solution to eradicate the virus all together.
